Bart was born and raised in Montana and grew-up exploring the mountains and rivers of Montana. His first trip into the Bob Marshall Wilderness was when he was four, he rode his own horse and has been “hooked” on all things outdoors since that trip.
“I always knew I would make hunting and fishing my profession and feel fortunate to have my passion in life be my profession as well. I bought my own outfitting business, Flying W Outfitters, in 1998 and have since pursued my dream of hunting and fishing for a living!”
Bart has guided or hunted all the species Montana has to offer and has pursued numerous species abroad as well. He has taken many trophies including the number four Rocky Mountain Bighorn with a bow.
Aside from guiding Bart has filmed hunts for various outdoor television shows as well as been featured in hunting publications with past clients.
“Because of the many years I have hunted, guided and scouted, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to all of my hunts. My passion continues to grow and I am excited to continue to guide and hunt Montana & around the world. I hope that Outland Outfitters will be in your next hunting or fishing adventure.”
